The staff seemed genuinely pleased to see me (I returnred 3 times during my holiday). The place was extremely clean, the computer was free to use and the local advice very good. The location was excellent once I found it. Most of the staff spoke a bit of English and a few spoke good English. It did evertything I needed of a budget hotel, and would .recommend it highly

The location was excellent, really close to the Ueno train station and subway so it was an ideal base to explore Tokyo from. Plenty of good places to eat nearby as well. The staff were friendly although they didn't speak any English. Free internet in the lobby which was useful for staying in touch with home.

Good location near to Ueno station, clean, wonderful staff, free wifi in the lobby After six nights at the start of the trip, we also returned there for our last night.
LAN ethernet cable in the room did not work for our macbook (actually, this applies to many hotels in Japan), but luckily there was free wifi in the lobby.

I had a wonderful experience at this budget hotel. There was a fantastic selection of meal options that I really enjoyed. the rooms were tidy and featured three comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. the area was peaceful, and the location was excellent, conveniently located near various shops, restaurants, train stations, subway systems. I especially liked that there was an open market nearby. Plus, Bar Cantina was a great spot to relax after a day of exploring.

The place was ideal and had exceptionally nice staff at the receptionist, greatly enjoyed the stay. The room itself was spotlessly clean and modest and with the usual capsule bathroom and 3 single beds, as example.

The hotel is quite colse to JR Ueno in a quite lane and is easy to be found, near JR station you can find everything and cheap food in a not so cheap city like Tokyo and the staff is also very freindly and helpful.
